New monitor/computer/stuff arrived yesterday
So I got in and roughly 10 minutes after I was on my laptop, my new case arrived. The courier dropped it off at the back of the house since I didn't get to the door in time. He then left.
I thought this was cool since I at least have something, the case.
...
Just as I had taken it up to my room and was un-packing it from the box, another courier van arrived. This time he was carrying a bigger box, I immediately assumed it was my 20" Widescreen LCD monitor, when I got to the door in time, this time, it was more than just the monitor, it was the rest of the stuff I had ordered.

- Motherboard
- CPU
- GPU (Video card)
- HDD
- DVD Burner/RW Drive
Seems he didn't deliver it all the first time since it wasn't labelled... idiots.
So I had all my stuff and took it up to my room and began to build it. My PSU had arrived the day before, which was awesome.
Built it all now, just waiting for the OS (XP Pro) to arrive, and my wireless network adaptor. Getting a friend to install the OS and check through everything on Sunday, and then hopefully I am good to go.

My new monitor is F'ing awesome. When I got it out of the box, I was seriously amazed. I took a few snaps and then began to build my machine. I'll post some pictures up of everything once it's all up and running. |

Finally ordered all my computer stuff. Should arrive today if I am lucky... fingers crossed! If not, I expect it to arrive on Wednesday.
If I am honest, it probably won't come today, but we live in hope!
Ahhh, February already, January just went, I didn't even get a chance to realize it was January... and then wooooshhh! It's gone.
11 months till Christmas. Not long. |
